Hey there, I am Thijs, 22 years of age, and I am a second year English student here at the UvA. I am chair of Etcetera for this year, and I hope to have an awesome year full of fun activities with all of you. I enjoy whiskey, motorcycles, playing ruby, the English syntax, English accents, pubquizes, and bad music. Roos Gravemaker – Secretary
Hi there, my name is Roos and I am a third year English student. I like baking, cooking, bad puns, Roald Dahl, Amy Winehouse, and I think that corny English TV Dramas are totes amazeballs. I am the secretary so I am mainly responsible for the email, booksales, agenda, and the minutes. But of course, I am also involved in the fun stuff like drinks, events, and study trips. Chantal Horselenberg – Treasurer
Hiya, my name is Chantal and like a much sexier version of Smaug I will be guarding the Etcetera money as Treasurer. I’m almost 21 and a third-year student of English language and culture. I’m a big fan of Chaucer, peanut-m&m’s, zumba, and have the tendency to laugh at my own jokes (sorry guys). One day I hope to reform English education here in Holland, but at the moment I’ll enjoy my time as Board member and make sure all fun things we organize for you are possible by providing the necessary dough. Patrick Paterson – Commissary of Internal Affairs
Hi internet folks, My name is Patrick Paterson, I’m a part time bookworm and full time cat. My age is 137 in cat years (21) and this is my second year of studying English at the UvA. I have a passion for coffee, glasses and dystopian fiction. As this is my first year as a board member, this is all very new and exiting to me! I look forward to working together with all the cool committees Etcetera has to offer, and to help organize interesting things for us all to enjoy.

My name is Maurits, you can call me by whatever creative nickname you can invent, I am 19 years old and I am in my second year of the English Language & Culture Bachelor. Philosophy, poetry, Rockin’ out, good talks and bad are mah thang. This year you will find me as the Commissary of External Affairs of Etcetera.
