As the year is coming to an end and everyone is pr As the year is coming to an end and everyone is preparing for the summer holidays, it is time to introduce the new board to you. We are so incredibly excited to give you another amazing Etcetera year. Before we introduce ourselves however a big thank you to last year’s board! Thank you for making it such a great year, we cannot wait to continue on this track. And now for a short introduction: Alexander our chair who dreams of flying through the air on Toothless form HTTYD. Casper our treasurer who solely survives on peanut butter and hagelslag sandwiches. Our secretary Eva who is a massive Kafka simp. Yana our amazing internal who's known for leaving the party early. And finally Babette our external who has a massive tote bag collection. Dearest members, What a year it’s been, and now Dearest members, What a year it’s been, and now it’s time to pass on the association to the new board. It’s weird to let this go, but we know we’re leaving Etcetera in good hands. Looking back at everything, it sure was fun, exciting, challenging, and often frustrating as well, but the most important thing is that we were always there for each other which has caused us to grow only closer as time went on. There is so much more we could say here, but now it’s time to welcome the new board who will take over this account. Lots of love! logging off ❤️

Our committee is still working incredibly hard to finalise it on time, and we are very happy to announce that you can now pre-order a printed copy! The cost is €8,-! We will notify you via email when you can pick them up at our office. You have until Wednesday evening to order your copy! A digital copy will also be made available on our website 📖

It’s finally time. After months of trials and tr It’s finally time. After months of trials and tribulations, summer has snuck up on us and calls for a day of rest and peace. Well, Etcetera has the perfect opportunity for you. We’ll be hosting our very own Beach Episode! Like in all your favorite shows, films, anime, we thought it would be lovely to take a break at the most cathartic place there is – the beach in Zandvoort! Join us for beach fun, games, and sunburns on June 21st! DM or text us if you want to join us at the beach. We will be leaving at 11:00 from the CS piano, however, feel free to join us throughout the day!
To follow up our recent Book Club, LLACE decided t To follow up our recent Book Club, LLACE decided to organise a Coraline Movie Screaming (pun intended, pls laugh) 👻 The event will take place next week on Wednesday (15th June) at 3 p.m. in P.C.Hoofthuis. It will be hybrid so you can join online; the link will be provided shortly before the event. Even if you didn't attend the book club, you can still join us for the movie, and in fact, we will be expecting you to do that! See you then! 🕷

Craig Russel! 🕷 You have until 6th of June to read the book and then join us on this date at 14:00 at Athenaeum Boekhandel for the discussion. Then, come listen to them talk about their ultimate literary lifesavers during this LLACE annual event! It will take place on 23rd May at 15:00 in PCH 3.01. This year our guests of honour would be Dr. Michael Miller, Dr. Ben Moore, and Dr. Bertus van Rooy, with the addition of some other special guests, too 😌 We expect to see you there, and don't be afraid to come up with recommendations yourself (for tbr stack reasons)! 📚✌🏻
Many of you have been asking us for a karaoke nigh Many of you have been asking us for a karaoke night and it is finally happening. We’re very happy to announce that ACE's karaoke night will take place on the 16th of May at The End Karaoke. It will start at 8pm., and we can’t wait to see you there!!
On 27th of May we will be going to Haarlem for the On 27th of May we will be going to Haarlem for the day! It’s a teaching free day and you don’t have to sign up anywhere, you can just come along if you want :) We will meet at 10am near the piano at Amsterdam Centraal Station and start our journey from there - train tickets are only 4,70€ vol tarief. We will have a plan prepared for the day but feel free to also do your own thing!

It is an Impression Night which means that you need to dress up as someone else. This can either be someone from Etcetera but also a character from a movie or a celebrity. There will be a little prize for the best impersonation. We can’t wait to see you there! 🍻
