BOOKSALE!
Dear members of Etcetera and people who are not a member but who want to become one,
It’s time to buy your books for the second semester! We have made another deal with book store Athenaeum and can therefore offer our first and second year members a 15% discount if you order your books with us! This is how it works:
– Go to this website: wo.athenaeum.nl
– Choose the faculty: UvA faculteit Geestenwetenschappen
– Choose the opleiding 1: Studievereniging Etcetera (it says Etcera, but it’s us)
– Choose the opleiding 2: Engelse Taal en Cultuur 1 or 2
– Choose the semester: Semester 2
– Select the books you would like to order and which you will come and collect on February 6 at our office
NB: 2ND YEAR LITERATURE C: DO NOT ORDER R. WRIGHT’S UNCLE TOM’S CHILDREN, THIS BOOK IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE LIST
2ND YEAR ALFRED TO JOYCE: BOTH BOOKS ARE NOT OBLIGATORY
1ND YEAR LANGUAGE CHANGE: BRINTON & ARNOVICK IS NOT OBLIGATORY
– Click on “Bestellen/reserveren”
– Check your order, click on “Ga verder”
– Create an account
– Choose the option “ik kom mijn bestelling ophalen in de winkel” which means that you will come pick it up at our office, not at the store
– Finish your order
After you’ve placed your order, you will receive an email about how much you will need to pay to Etcetera. If you have not paid before February 6 your order will be cancelled and you will not receive your books. So ALL PAYMENTS will be digital this year and if you don’t pay on time: NO BOOKS! But you all should be alright. Go go go!
Non-members: you can become a member by following the steps above and add the four year membership to your shopping cart as if it’s a book. Simple as that!
